Bhubansehwar is very famous for the handicraft item and a wide range can
be found especially at Utkalika emporium. Other well known items are hand
woven cotton saris,decorative pieces and brass paintings are worth a bargain.

The places of interest are Lingaraja Temple is surrounded by high walls on
four sides, and is one of the most popular Temples in Orissa. Bindusagar Lake
is a popular picnic spot enhanced by the stones, which have been laid along
the embankments.
The Museum has a rich collection of sculptures, coins, copper plates, stone
inscriptions, lithic and Bronze Age tools, rare manuscripts written on palm
leaves, traditional and folk musical instruments. The art gallery has a splendid
collection of stone sculptures, patta paintings, brass castings, horn toys
and Orissa's famous silver filigree work. The tribal Museum provides an insight
into the tribal culture of Orissa.
Among the other attractive places are Udaygiri and Khandagiri caves, ‘Shanti
Stupa’ in Dhauli, Chandipur, Atri, Cuttack the capital city of Orissa,Simlipal
and Nandankanan.
